Barangay Tawin-tawin
This used to be a hilly area surrounded by rich meadows and was the ideal playground for children. When the easterly winds began to blow, children flew kites. They soon made larger and larger kites that flew higher and higher. They started calling the place 'tawin-tawin', [tawin is heaven' ], which then became a frequent expression and soon became the official name of the barangay. |
