Municipal Ordinance 2001-01
BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Bayan in session assembled that:

- SECTION I – TITLE – COASTAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND FISHERIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALAMINOS (AS AMENDED).
- SECTION II – There is a need to amend Section 24 of the Municipal Ordinance No, 17, s–1997 to read as follows:
FROM : SECTION 24: The SB shall in a resolution, provide for the rules for the holding of PUBLIC BIDDING for the grant of exclusive fishery privileges, specifying the time, date and venue of such auction, the minimum bids therefore, the amount to be deposited for entitlement to participate, the procedure to be followed by the committee, and the satisfactory compliance of the terms of the grant of license, the bond shall be in cash, in real estate situated in the Philippines or by surety company authorized for that purpose in an amount equivalent to not less than two (2) years rental if for a five-year period at the maximum.
TO: The Sangguniang Bayan shall in a resolution, provides for the holding of PUBLIC DRAWING of lot if the number of fisherfolk applicant is bigger than the number of fishing lot/area, however, if the number of fishing lot/area is greater than the number of applicant–fisherfolk, then, all applicants who have qualified be awarded fishery privileges/lease a fishery lot, AWARD, the minimum bid therefore, the amount to be deposited for entitlement to participate, the procedure to be followed by the committee and the amount of bond or deposit as guaranty of good faith and for the satisfactory compliance of the terms and conditions of the grant of license. The bond/deposit shall be in cash or in real estate situated in the Philippines, or by surety company authorized for that purpose in an amount equivalent to not less than one (1) year for a period of three (3) years.
- SECTION III – EFFECTIVITY – This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
