Natural Inland and Island Caves

Caves abound within the City and in the Hundred Islands which many scientist considered them  as part of the geological evolutionary process that creates appreciation of cave formations as an ecological and tourism attraction. Today, up to 14 caves have been identified and assessed within the City, where four are located in the mainland. Natural caves found in Hundred Islands (List of Caves in the City of Alaminos) have potentials for recreation, spelunking, and picnicking as well as for education and research as well.  (Cave Maps of Alaminos)
