Public Order and Safety

Implementation of public order and safety in the City of Alaminos  is generally undertaken by the 43 Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Personnel  from the Philippine National Police and with the complementary of the  62 manpower of the Public Order and Safety Office.


From 2004 to 2012, average number of crimes committed is about 80 while the number of crime solved is about 75 or a crime solution efficiency of about 93 % based on the report submitted by the Philippine National Police (Crime Incidence Versus Crime Solved By Year)


For the period 2012, it appears that there is an 268% increased in  the total crime volume in CY 2011  from 40 to 147. This is mainly due to the increased in   the total non-index crime from just 5 in 2011 to 56 in 2012 or an increase of about to 1020 per cent.  Meanwhile the number of frustrated murder also increased from 1 in CY 2011 to 6 in 2012 (Details of Crime Incidence Per Year)


Based on the 2011 and 2012 period, it would appear that commission of crimes increases  from the  months of October, November and December  (Total Crime Incidence By Month By Year). At the same period, total crime volume increased by 73%. Average Crime committed per month in CY 2012 stands at 7 crimes per month.
As part of managing the commission of crimes, various checkpoints were established in the City (Map of Police Community Precincts).
