Fishpond Areas |
Alaminos City has a total fishpond area of about 1,244 hectares distributed in its 10 coastal barangay (Map of Fishpond Areas). This is broken down as follows: Class A-, 1,045 Class B- 550 and Class C 1,442. Most of the fishpond are being used for bangus production while there is also a considerable area that are used for salt production during summer months. |
