Number of Fisherfolks

The number of registered fisherfolks in CY 2006 stands at 975. In 2007, the number reached to a around 2000.  However, in 2012, the number of fisherfolks decreased to 1,800  due to  the decrease in the number of fishpen operators, fish trap operators and fish cage operators.
