As per report of the City Schools Division of the Department of Education, there are 69 educational facilities now operating in the City of which 46 are owned by the government and 23 are privately owned (Map of Educationa l Institutions) . In terms of services, 49 of these schools provide pre-elementary and elementary courses. On the otherhand, 13 provides secondary courses, 10 technical-vocational courses and five (5) tertiary courses and two for post graduate courses.
