The LGU Organizational Structure

The organizational set up shows the LGU's compliance with the minimum requirement for its viable operations (Organizational  Structure of Alaminos City). At present, all the mandatory offices identified in RA 7160 were already complied with. As of June 2013, there are about 290 employees occupying plantilla position of about 50-50 ratio among males and females.

Classified by various age group, 30% belongs to the 46-55 age group, followed by the 26 to 45 age group at 28% while the 56 to 65 age group accounts to about 17% Highest among males are within the 46 to 55 age group while that of female is with the 25 to 35 age group(Distribution of LGU Employees by Age Group as of June 2013).

In terms of Highest Educational Attainment, employees that finished Bachelor’s Degree courses comprises about 68% where females accounts about 62%. Meanwhile those who took up Vocational Courses accounts to about 17% . Out of the total number of employees in the LGU, only one (1) percent took up a master course (Distribution of LGU Employees by Highest Education Attainment as of June 2013).

Meanwhile, there are about 234 out of the 282 employees who have been in their current position for a period of 1 to 10 years accounts to about 83% (Distribution of LGU Employees Based on the Number of Years in the Current Position). Corollary to this, almost 69% of the total employees in the LGU have been working in the government for a period of 1 to 10 years (Distribution of LGU Employees Based on the Number of Years in Government Service)

As of June 2013, total LGU employees reached a total of 826 of which 57% are job orders, 32 % are permanent and the rest are distributed to elective, co-terminus, casual and consultants (Distribution of Employees Based on Employment  Status) .

As to the level of positions, 56.23 % belongs to first level, while second level and executive management accounts about 38.79% and 4.98% respectively (Distribution of LGU Employees Based on Levels of Position). In terms of their distribution by salary grade, Grade 11 accounts 12.41%, Grade 6 accounts 9.66% and the rest are distributed to other grades (Distribution of LGU Employees Based on Salary Grades) .
